England interim manager Lee Carsley suffered a setback in England’s match against Greece with a historic Wembley defeat. The defeat against Greece is the England’s first ever against Greece and the first defeat at Wembley in four years.

The result was a disjointed, confused mess, as Carsley’s 100% record since succeeding Gareth Southgate was ended by a well-organized Greece side, who actually had the ball in the net five times only to see three ruled out for offside.
The victory at Wembley means Greece stays at the summit of the UEFA Nation’s League Group 2 table with a 100% record winning all three matches. England follows with 6 points.
