BAWUMIA STARTS U/W TOUR

Published:

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is set to begin a regional tour of the Upper West Region today as part of his intensified nationwide engagements ahead of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) upcoming presidential primaries.

The tour marks a critical phase in Dr. Bawumia’s campaign strategy as he seeks to consolidate support within the party and strengthen his appeal among grassroots members. The engagements will allow him to interact directly with delegates, outline his vision, and reinforce the key policy messages driving his bid for the NPP flagbearership.

During the multi-day visit, Dr. Bawumia is expected to meet with regional and constituency executives and hold town hall sessions across several districts. He will also engage opinion leaders, youth groups, and community stakeholders to discuss development priorities and solicit feedback on local concerns.

Dr. Bawumia is expected to wrap up his tour with a series of community interactions and stakeholder meetings before continuing to the next region on his campaign itinerary. His team maintains that the Vice President remains committed to a “people-centred, issues-driven” campaign as he makes his case to lead the NPP into the next election.
