Barcelona thrashes Sevilla 5-1 in a stunning display of skill and teamwork, with Robert Lewandowski continuing his stellar form by scoring two goals. This victory takes his goal contribution in La Liga to 12 goals and 2 assists, as the youthful Barcelona side shines in a packed match week, facing tough opponents like Bayern and Real Madrid.

In a match that showcased their dominance, Barcelona thrashes Sevilla early on. Lewandowski tucked away a 24th-minute penalty into the bottom corner after Raphinha was fouled. Shortly after, Pedri scored from the edge of the box, thanks to a brilliant setup from Lamine Yamal. Lewandowski, who was denied moments earlier at close range, added his second goal by meeting Raphinha’s precise pass.

The second half featured fresh legs to maintain the game’s momentum. Pablo Torre, who was substituted on, scored two goals, including a stunning free kick. The Sevilla goalkeeper was caught off guard after being confused by Torre’s cross, which unexpectedly found the net.

Lewandowski, 36, took his tally to 14 goals in 12 games across all competitions, solidifying Barcelona’s position as they continue their impressive form. This emphatic win comes as a response to Real Madrid’s recent 2-1 victory at Celta Vigo. Barcelona has now won nine of their opening ten league games, leading 3-0 at halftime for the third consecutive match.
