The Organised Labour On October 9, 2024 rescinded their decision to embark on a nationwide strike scheduled for October 10, 2024. Prior to the announcement, many organisations withdrew from the intended strike due to the nature of their work and the services they provide to the general populace. This decision got many expressing their views, which tends out to be a big disappointment garnished with bleeding, premium pains and wailing to the major opposition and some individuals who describe themselves as “neutrals” – Dr. Ransford Gyampo, Angel Kabornu, Obuobia Darko, Yayra Koku, KOD, Rex Omar and many others.

The pains

The above mentioned took to their social media to express their disappointment which hinted many that the whole nationwide strike, demonstration and all the brouhaha was influenced by the National Democratic Congress to score political points, cause anger among Ghanaians to vote against the ruling party. This was a big flop!

Dr. Ransford Gyampo, a political science lecturer at the University of Ghana granted an interview to the media insisting that UTAG will still proceed with the strike action, regardless of Government meeting their demands. Is he acting out of shame or pushing a specific agenda?

Welcome to the HALL OF SHAME!
