Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has praised the party’s grassroots members, describing them as the “greatest assets” of the NPP. Speaking during his Thank You Tour in the Western Region, Dr. Bawumia expressed profound gratitude to the party’s base for their unwavering loyalty and dedication throughout the 2024 election campaign and beyond.

“Our grassroots are our greatest assets. I thank them for their unflinching support for the Party,” Dr. Bawumia said to loud cheers from hundreds of supporters gathered to meet him.

Dr. Bawumia acknowledged the crucial role polling station executives, constituency officers, and ordinary party faithful played in energizing the campaign across the country. He emphasized that the party’s future success depends on continuously investing in and empowering its grassroots structures.

Beyond thanking the NPP members, Dr. Bawumia also extended his appreciation to the broader Ghanaian public for participating in the 2024 elections and contributing to the country’s thriving democracy.

“As a party, we have learned valuable lessons. We are committed to building on our strengths and addressing our weaknesses, and with the support of our grassroots, we are confident about the future,” he added.

Dr. Bawumia’s Thank You Tour, which aims to reconnect with the party’s support base and reignite hope for the future, is set to continue in other regions in the coming days.
