The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has launched an AI-powered Chatbot dubbed BawumiaGPT. As announced by the digital team of the Bawumia Campaign, the new technology is designed to provide answers to questions asked by any individual especially, on issues bothering around the Manifesto of the New Patriotic Party for the 2024 election year.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as Ghana’s Vice President, has continually pioneered a technology-driven innovation in the country’s political landscape. According to the General Secretary of the party, Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua, the NPP believes that this latest innovation, BawumiaGPT, will offer an AI-powered platform where citizens can interact directly with Dr. Bawumia’s campaign, learn about his policies, and ask questions. The platform reflects Bawumia’s commitment to embracing cutting-edge technology, ensuring inclusivity, and creating accessible channels for Ghanaians to stay informed and engaged.

BawumiaGPT is designed to bring citizens closer to his campaign through real-time engagement. The platform, styled after conversational AI models, allows users to receive accurate and timely responses on local governance, economic policies, healthcare, education, infrastructure, social issues regarding policy positions, developmental projects, and campaign updates. This makes it easier for individuals across the country, particularly the youth, to connect with Dr. Bawumia’s vision for the future, while also facilitating transparency and accountability in his political outreach.
