Bawumia to youth: I won’t disappoint you if you vote for me

The flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mahamudu Bawumia has assured he will not disappoint the youth if they give him the mandate to become president in the 7 December elections.

According to Bawumia, the ideas of the youth will be drafted into formulating policies of government under his administration.

Speaking at a youth engagement dubbed” Bawumia for Jobs” in Accra on Sunday (3 November), Bawumia said the concerns of the youth will be his priority if elected president.

“I know some of you may not be too eager to vote, I do not blame you, if you have bought into the view that all politicians are the same, but that is not so,” he said,

“You can trust me to protect the public purse to use it selflessly to serve you. To the young voters of Ghana, I will ask you, do not switch off, I ask you to get involved.”

Bawumia added “December is about you, its about who can deliver for you and your future, whom you trust, who has the integrity, the vision, the energy and competency and the sense of where the world is and your place in it, I plead with you to make an informed choice.”
