In latest development, a video clip of the GFA boss surfaced online where he was seen lambasting the Blackstar players for failing to secure a win against Niger in their previous match. This video has sparked various reactions from netzines across all social media. This caught the attention of the Gospel Singer cum Preacher, Sonnie Badu to share his thoughts where he stated that the GFA President’s outburst could do more harm than good to the players.

“With all due respect, I think Kurt’s outburst rather deflated the boys. Yes, I understand he is frustrated and wants the nation to see that he is in control. However, football is a psychological game, and this could damage the boys rather than provide the intended motivation,” he wrote.

The Gospel Singer concluded by adding that he believes Dede Ayew is needed in the squad because he serves as a source of motivation to the boys or perhaps a successful Ex-player could be brought to camp to inspire the boys and added that the jama sessions were excellent form of bonding and questioned who leads it now that Dede Ayew and Ofori are absent from the squad.
