Comedian Derrick Kwabena Bonney, popularly known as DKB has gone under severe criticism and mockery after he released an advert that seeks to project the NDC’s 24-hour Economy policy. The video that was released via the actor’s social media caused a stir among netizens with many describing it as ridiculous.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) through its National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi released a presser after the video had gone viral to disassociate the party from the skit and urged party sympathizers to refrain from creating and distributing unauthorized content on behalf of the National Democratic Congress ahead of the 2024 general elections.

In a statement issued by Sammy Gyamfi, the party denied sanctioning such advert and warned sympathizers to heed to strict rules for a well-coordinated messaging aimed at selling the vision of their Presidential Candidate.

“It has come to the attention of the National Communications Bureau of the NDC, that out of enthusiasm to see the party win the upcoming December 7 polls, some party sympathizers are producing their own adverts and creative works to market the party’s policies,” the letter read.

The NDC has urged party sympathizers who are interested in creating media contents to support the party’s bid to win power to seek approval from the National Communications Bureau  in order to maintain consistency in their messaging.

Here is the full content of the release shared by Mr. Sammy Gyamfi earlier;
