Stop buying electricity credit in small amounts; buy them in large amounts and track your consumption” – Nana Yaa Jantuah, Presidential Staffer.

Published:

According to Nana Yaa Jantuah, Presidential staffer, purchasing electricity in small amounts frequently may not be the most efficient approach for households and businesses. Instead, she encouraged consumers to plan ahead, buy in bulk when possible, and track usage to better manage their energy expenses.

“Stop buying electricity credit in small amounts; buy them in large amounts and track your consumption,” she stated.

Her remarks come amid ongoing discussions about energy costs and household expenditure management. Nana Yaa Jantuah explained that buying electricity credit in larger amounts could help consumers plan their budgets more effectively and reduce the inconvenience of constant top-ups.

She further emphasised the importance of monitoring consumption, noting that many consumers are unaware of how quickly they exhaust their electricity due to inefficient usage habits and high-energy appliances.
