“You Hoarded Fertlizers” – Bryan tells NPP PCs

Published:

A viral video circulating on social media has captured New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant Dr. Bryan Acheampong alleging that some parliamentary candidates within his own party hoarded government-distributed fertilisers during his tenure as Minister for Food and Agriculture.

Addressing party delegates and supporters as part of his campaign tour, Dr. Acheampong recounted that during his time in office under the previous Akufo-Addo administration, he oversaw the nationwide distribution of fertilisers intended to support Ghanaian farmers. However, he claimed that certain individuals, particularly NPP parliamentary candidates, hoarded the supplies for their personal or political gain.

“As Agric Minister, I distributed fertilisers to farmers as I was mandated to do,” Dr. Acheampong said in the video. “But some parliamentary candidates, especially those from our own party, hoarded the fertilisers that were meant for the farmers.”
