Dr. Bawumia’s promise to create 4 million jobs, not overly ambitious – Akbar Khomeini

The Deputy Communications Director of the Bawumia Campaign, Akbar Yussif Khomeini, has spoken about the 4 million jobs Dr. Bawumia promises to create when given the nod as the next president come December polls.

Responding to the assertions by critics, Akbar querried “how is it overly ambitious?”. He further explained the key areas these jobs will come from, notable amongst them is the digital economy.

The World Bank is estimating that between now and 2030, arica alone, will be in need of digital skils numbering 230 million and ghana can benefit from 9 million jobs. Between now and 2030 is 6 years and if a presidential candidate is promising 2 million jobs,

“It is not overly ambitious, he has identified three areas that we believe will support the vision to deliver 4 million jobs. One important area is the digital economy, the fourth industrial revolution jobs. The world bank is estimating that between now and 2030, Africa alone, will be in need of digital skills numbering 230 million and Ghana can benefit from 9 million jobs. Between now and 2030 is 6 years and if a presidential candidate is promising 2 million jobs, how is it overly ambitious?” He remarked.
