Published:

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bono East Region has officially endorsed the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, during his campaign tour of the Ahafo, Bono, and Bono East Regions.

The endorsement came as thousands of party supporters, regional executives, and grassroots members gathered to welcome Dr. Bawumia as part of his ongoing nationwide campaign.

The Bono East Regional Executives of the NPP reaffirmed their loyalty to Dr. Bawumia and pledged to deliver an overwhelming victory for him and the party in the upcoming polls.

“The Bono East NPP stands firmly behind Dr. Bawumia. His innovative policies, humility, and proven leadership make him the right man to lead Ghana into its next phase of development,” a regional party statement read.

Party leaders described Dr. Bawumia as a visionary and transformative leader whose “Bold Solutions” agenda represents hope for job creation, economic stability, and inclusive national growth.

Addressing thousands of enthusiastic delegates and supporters at a massive rally in the Bono East Region, Dr. Bawumia declared the beginning of what he described as a “shared journey toward victory,” positioning his campaign as a movement for inclusion, renewal, and party cohesion.

“This is not my journey alone; this is our journey together,” Dr. Bawumia proclaimed to thunderous applause.
“The mission to break the eight-year cycle and secure victory in 2028 begins today, with all of us, right here in Bono East. From the polling station executive to the national officer, we all have a role to play.”

Dr. Bawumia’s message resonated strongly with delegates, as he underscored the importance of grassroots participation and collective responsibility in the NPP’s quest to “break the eight.” His call for unity struck a deeply emotional chord, with party members describing the rally as a turning point for the party’s morale.

“This is the energy we have been waiting for,” said Kwasi Boakye, an NPP delegate. “Dr. Bawumia has not just come to ask for our votes; he has come to invite us on a journey. He has sparked a momentum tonight that I believe will carry us all the way to 2028.”
